Hi
I've just moved XOOPS to the root of my space, it all loads except for this error "Failed open file"
It happens when I try and log in as the admin.
the address is Vale Hosting
Any Ideas

Try to turn debug on and see what errors XOOPS generates.

Did you move the templates_c/ folder too? Make sure you did, because that's where these errors mostly occur. Also, you might want to try and update the system module in the system admin -> modules page. That will reload the templates.

Hi
Everything is working ok, I can log in as the admin, but it takes me to the screen where it says "This is the first time to enter the admin area".
When I click on submit all I get is the login page with the error at the top left hand corner which says "Failed open file"

aaaahhh.. this is valuable info. Make sure the cache/ folder is chmodded to 777

Thanks for your help guys, but I think I've fixed the problem.
I backed up the database, uninstalled XOOPS and reinstalled it, the uploaded the database and every thing is as it was.
