i had a look at the template and it does not add any space, so that is okay. i may have already asked, but what theme are you using?

When I save your page locally using Mozilla 1.7, lots of <br> tags appear right where that white space is. Any chance that you have some weird linefeed characters in your original source?

Like in
<div id="content">
          <center>
<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><table width="10%">

Those <br>'s arent there when I edit the content in TinyContent. I wonder how I would get rid of them...

theme is fine, so you need to find source of those breaks. very odd.

Well, I guess I should've looked more carefully at the first code you posted, because the answer is right there
You can't have <br>s between a </tr> and a <tr>. Deleting them seems to solve it.

apart from the table width being 10%, which seems odd, never even looked at the sructure.
