Hello,
I am looking for a way to serve a map like mapserver
does. Is there a module for that? What would be the best way
to integrate mapserver? Guess I'' be heading to a mapserver forum as well.

I don't know of any and I wouldn't know where to begin.

However, you do not need to doublepost just because noone answered to your initial posting. If you get no replies, wait a bit and if still no replies, you can "bump" up the thread by replying to it yourself.

Thanks, I had started to do just that and instead posted
where you saw it. 50/50 chance and I chose the wrong one.
I will keep it in mind for the next time.
