Hi,

I am new to both MySQL and xoops. I will be supporting MySQL. My first task is to make a recommendation about designing the database so that multiple instances of XOOPS can reside. Is this application designed to accomodate this?

if u mean can u have 2 seperate sites then yes.. when installing XOOPS asks you for a prefix.. you can either keep it as the default xoops_ and it will add the prefix XOOPS to all the tablex ie xoops_users. if you change the prefix ie to mysite_ then the tables will have mysite_ prefixed eg. mysite_users
