Hi,

I've got XOOPS installed and i've now got safe mode switched off on my server which should now allow uploads to the site other than those through FTP which was what i thought was preventing the SYSTEM / IMAGES catalog program from allowing me to upload pictures as files.

Alas i still can't upload when i try XOOPS just returns me to the SYSTEM main menu (rectangle boxes) My directory permissions for uploads is 777 can anyone give me advice on where to go from here.

FYI this was the solution to the problem

create an .htaccess file and put this line in it
php_value file_uploads 1
then upload the file to your public_html folder.
