Shoutbox doesn't shows images in smiley bar

I am not able to understand why the shoutbox is not showing smiley in the smileybar. Looks like its not able to find the smiley. when i click on "more" i can see the smiley but the smiley in smileybar doesnt show up on clicking "show pictures" also. Any idea whats needed to be done ??

if any user uses : ) or any other symbols by typing, it appears in the shoutbox. its the smileybar where its not showing up, rest everywhere its working fine.

i am using shoutbox version 4.0 alpha
http://e-xoops.alphalogic.org/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=2

Looks like its working very weird. I have to click twice on shout to get the data. moreove on clicking twice it gives an error popup to saying twice entered the data.

The images in: http://vinit.hostcubix.com/group/html/images/smilies/ seem to be missing - check to see if you've not uploaded them as asci instead of binary... easily done.

BTW - this is apparently an E-Xoops module - not a XOOPS one....?

Unless I mis-read it?

oh yes its not there... where do i get that smilies list ???

Other thing is that how is the smileys visible on clicking "more" and in the shoutbox. And anyidea why its acting weird. I have to click twice for shout.

I heard that e-xoops module are compatible with XOOPS to certian extent. Do you know any other shoutbox which works fine with xoops, i tried v 0.91 and v2.0 both breaked off

Well I suppose this must be compatible to an extent - as it is sort-of working :)

The missing graphics are probably (I think!) built in ones on E-Xoops which may exist on XOOPS in another location (the directory looks like a system one rather than the module)

I'll have a look later (it's 4:30 am!) for a shoutbox - but some clever person will probably beat me to it :)

Even i am frustrated with this.. So removing it out finally. grrrrrr

Its bad idea to use e-xoops shoutbox. Dont try.
And if you still make it, the do inform me how to get it working

Till then no shoutbox.
