I am looking for a module that easily allows the webmaster to upload files and make them available for download by all users.

Basically, I'm wanting to make an archive of sermons from my church available. I need an easy way of selecting files from my computer to upload. Then, I would like to find the simplest form of making these files available to download.
Something similar to Xoopsgallery is what I think I need. But Xoopsgallery is only for photos.

Thank You.

Doesn't the Mydownloads module that comes with XOOPS already do all that?

there is a number of modules you can use. for example any article module would work. you might try wfsections.

Will these be audio files, pdf files, etc.? What kind of format will they be in? It would help us help you if we knew that.

These will be audio files.

I've looked at wfsections and it does a lot more than I need. I simply need to be able to browse for a local file and upload it in order to be available on a gallery type page.

Personally, for something like this - I would use the "sections" module - put in a brief description and then link to the audio file which can be uploaded to a directory on your website and played from there.

You can also make a custom block for the latest sermon audio and put a link there for your home page.

I know that our pastor uses Sermon Audio for his sermons.

Hope this helps.
