Different content in Top page for registered/unregistered visitor?

I tried to change the visible blocks in the Top page and differentiate the content for registered users vs. anonymous users, but I'm not succesfull.

It looks like it should be possible since you can choose Show blocks visible in [Top Page] Group [Registered/Anonymous]
in the blocks administration.

How do I do that?

Create a block for registered users.
Create a block for unregistered users.

Once you have them made, go to System Admin->Groups and assign permissions for what group sees what blocks and modules.

you can use

Hi!

I have also this problem.
When making a new block with the registered users, there is no problem. BUT!!!, when I'm choosing the unregistred user from the dropdown, and then want to add a new block to that "section", IT STILL COMES BACK AS ADDED TO THE REGISTRERED USER BLOCKS! INSTEAD FOR GOING INTO THE UNREGISERED USER BLOCKS!

Please HELP! I'm not able to get a intro on my XOOPS 2.06 site!

The drop down in blocks admin is a FILTER for showing only blocks available to a certain usergroup - it does NOT change any permissions.

ALL block permissions are set in system admin -> GROUPS - because it is a matter of assigning permissions to usergroups.
