Yeah, the site you did looks good. I'm currently trying to find someone to update the content in ours :)

Chainsaw, what made you use wfchannels over wfsections?

Channel is best used for non or seldom changing web contents. So most of the pages where they are for info only is great on Channel.

I wanted to use WFSection in the future of articles or reviews.

I use XOOPS for my church's website.

Multimenu is my friend.

www.omahachurchofchrist.org

Unfortunately, I am not the best at it, either, so there are a couple of mistakes and the poll is out of date.

This is a great topic and one that deserves attention. Maybe it would benefit from its own forum here. The creativity in the way people are using XOOPS is marvelous. I posted a comment on the article that this thread inspired that may be of interest. It can be found here.

today I met my business partners and presented an idea of focusing on churches and think we are going to market it sometime or other. The seminar training is a good idea. Not sure if I want to pay for food

if you checkouthttp://www.truewell.com/ , its a website that designed portals for churches, but charges $150 a month or something

Hi everybody,

It's funny to run across this thread tonight since I just uploaded XOOPS to my church website a few minutes ago.

It's not really functional yet, but the site will be at xcthesavior.org. It's Christ the Savior Orthodox Church in Chicago.

May God bless all your endeavors to labor for his glory!

Fr. John

I was just given the go ahead to create the Campus Crusade for Christ website for San Diego State Univeristy (Which I help head up at my uni), and I will be using Xoops! This will make things on the administration side much easier for me!
