Hi can anyone tell me how to enable view of the shoutbox for the anonymous users

enable it (little check box you click) in the group page under anonymous users.

Already did that.. still it says You must be logged in, to use this feature

i gather you're using the shoutbox from the downloads section on this site.. 0.91 i think.

if so, then you should have read the instructions and info on the download page.. it states clearly it can only be used by registered users NOT guests..


if you want 1 that works for guests then go HERE

gah...

I installed that version 2.0 shoutbox... this one behaves more weird than expected.

The iframe that contents the shout texts shows the home page which says you dont have permisions to see this page and throws to the login page. ( this all inside that 150px, iframe of shoutbox.) I have disabled the post option for the guest. yet is shows the input box with shout option.

Can someone tell me what the hell is going on in here....

even the smilies are misisng. the indiviual who is posting cannot see the smilies. but after the post it comes in the iframe, but not in the smiles block ???

i checked the image properties of smiles... the smiles are supposed to be in /html/images/smilies... but for some reason its not there... The smiles shown along with the shoutbox text are in /html/upload with some junk names...

Can anyone tell me why all this crap is taking places ???
