hi everybody, well, I have a project and I need a coder for this, the project is like a shoping cart, if somebody want to do this, answear me or send me a mail at: casper@evazone.iefactory.com

we can talk about the pay, ;)

this is the project:

ARTISAN-DIRECT-TO-RETAILER WEB INTERFACE

mysql, php

Presents a series of products in two Groups

1. pewter
2. 925 silver

(later there will be more groups)

each Group is organized into units of 100 unique style numbers (sku)

0000-0099, 0100-0199, 0200-1299 ...

each sku is a record in the data base with descriptions, image, and current
cost

the cost factor of each sku is updated every morning from a corresponding
data base

corresponding data base is hosted on the local computer, uploads a daily
cost total update

the dynamic prices display on the Artisan-Owned Direct Distribution web
interface

the dynamic prices on the web page result from the multiplication of a
g.p.m. value

gpm means gross profit margin; it is the ratio between the price and the cost

the administrator adjusts the settings for each web page by applying gpm values

example> if the gpm is set at 2.5, that means that a piece that costs $1.00
is priced at $2.50

There are two presentation modes . Both sales service modes are present in
every web page

1. Shopping Cart mode
2. Offer mode

Shopping Cart mode (USER)

As prospect adds pieces to shopping cart
the program calculates the cart trial total

when the trial total exceeds a threshhold
the price of each piece in the cart goes down
to the next lower level.

Images of everything in the shopping cart
are displayed along the vertical left border

Shopping Cart mode (ADMINISTRATOR)

The setting screen for the AODD webpage
has a double row of paired input windows

the paired inputs are GPM and PRICE BREAK
3.5 at .99usd$, 3.2 at $199usd$ 2.7 at $399usd$

it is set up so the administator inputs the values
for the lowest and the highest price peak levels

the script evenly fills in the interexisting values
in the input windows between highest & lowest

then the administrator is still able to manipulate
the levels both in terms of price break & of gpm

each page has its gpm and price break settings
that determine the prices in the shopping cart.

Offer mode (USER)

The Prospect is presented with a product offer
in the form of a onestopshop proforma invoice

The invoice shows the total price of a collection
of products including the to-your-door delivery

all the prospect has to do to place an order is press
a link taking her directly to the payment sequence

The pieces in every offer are displayed along
The left hand verticle border of the webpage.

Offer Mode (ADMINISTRATOR)

The proforma invoices are composed by the administrator on a special screen

Administrator selects Group (ex> pewt), then Series (ex> 0400)

A Menu drops down it hasup to 100 records of the syles in that series

The Administrator indicates the sku and quantities to be included in
proforma invoice

The Administrator switches to another screen where totalled trial proforma
invoice displays

Administrator returns to previous screen and selects or deselects or
changes the quantities

Once the proforma invoice is perfect, it is saved to be displayed in one or
more web pages.

SEARCH

The entire data base of sku
as well as the entire data base of offers
are fully searcheable by the administrator

there should be an easy way to generate a variety of useful reports

There is a setting screen
where the searchability of sku and offers
by the Users is determined by Administrator

A user can only enter the system through a webpage
Each webpage is set for certain gpm and price breaks

Once a user has started building a shopping cart order
The gpm and price level settings she started out with
Are not affected by passing through other web pages

Thus the user browses, using the search function,
Through a series of offers, adding the pieces displayed
To the shopping cart

At any time, the user can find an offer that is pleasing
and abandon the shopping cart process and place order

that's a heckuva description, took me a couple of mins just to skim it, lol

try contacting the developer at Burnwave, i know he's for hire, he already has a good shopping cart for PHP-Nuke($35, and not difficult to port to xoops), he could fairly easily meet your expectations, imho

i've already ported it to NSN-Nuke for personal use, and partial port to Xoops2 but haven't finished yet, due to lack of time.

btw, his shopping cart is one of the best that I've used, esp for the price, much easier to navigate and operate than OSCommerce or other free carts, and supports a TON of options, like multiple pay methods, shipping, etc

tell him intel352 sent you (my handle in the *nuke community)

If your willing to pay then it maybe worth you posting this project on a site called ScriptLance, where developers/programmers can bid for your project, I've done this a couple of times which has been successfull, you can also use thier 'Escrow' account which means rather than paying the developer direct, he/she know's his/hers money is there and it won't be released until the project is complete, which ensures you don't pay without results.
