Hi,

I have been trying to search this forum and unable to get the answer. After I install XOOPS on my site, the navigation menu on the left, like home, news, forum, etc didnt show up until I need to log in with my username, then, only I can see the menu on the left.

My new installation site is as below:

http://www.manage.centralweb.biz/xoops/

How do I make it show up as soon as the visitor visit my site without a need to log in? such as www.catscity.com?
Also, I notice that when I type the domain link, www.catscity.com, it will redirect the site to www.catscity.com/modules/news, I notice this also happen when I type www.xoops.org.

Sorry for troubling you with my dummy question, thanks a million for your kind answer!

I see the main menu with the "home" link.

In order to see the navigation links for other modules, you will need to go to system admin -> groups and edit the anonymous group to have module access to the modules, they should have access to.

The same goes for blocks.

thanks for your super fast reply!

I did the following:

check all the visible button to "yes"

Edit the following:

Show blocks visible in : Forum
Group: Anonymous
visible: Yes

click "go"

but the forum still didn't show up on the main page when I did not log in.

Thanks for helping me!

In blocks admin, you turn blocks on and off or decide, which pages a block is visible in, but the access permissions are set in groups admin.

The drop-down in the top is only to filter between blocks visible to the various usergroups.
