Can it be opened in a new separate page instead of opening in the XOOPS structure on xoops_contents?

i dont know what exactly u want but if u want open newbb in a separate page u can invisible all blocks in newbb modules simply

For some reason i've tried and tried and i can't get that to work, my left block's layout allways shows even if i turn it off <.< and yes i've tried the fix for that that's somewhere around this forum.

Plus, i'd really prefer it to open on a new blank separate page.

There was a fix that someone posted only over the last few days, which based on the current module, a different theme file was included - ie one without left and right columns could be used for the forum.

i think he wants to click on the link and target ="_blank"

then on the page it would be a full page on the newsbb.
nothing at all , no left blocks and no right blocks..

just the module alone appear on the the whole page.
