When I run admin_forums.php in one of my installations (Add newbb Forum function)I get the following error:

Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: xoops_admin_menu_js in file include/cp_functions.php line 72

I need this fixed ASAP, first one to fix this issue will receive PayPal funds the same day. We are not trying to bribe you guys just thought a little cash would help this issue along. We know of quite a few installs that are also having this issue. Any help would be great and thanks in advance.

I assume you are not just running the file admin_forums.php because that won't work.

You should actually be running something like

....admin_forums.php?mode=addforum

right?

It appears that forwhatever reason the variable xoops_admin_menu_js is not being set when it is being handled by the functions page...

Correct. We are running the entire XOOPS 2.06, with the stock modules. Nothing special here. I have search the forums and have a couple items that we looked at but they were no help. This appears to be a BUG. We have totally reinstalled the app several times and no luck. We love the product and would like to use it but if we have no forums it will not help our needs.

Check GLOBAL_REGISTER

yes
it's caused by global_register off (have not found out where the exact reason though).
has been fixed in the new newbb.

global_register on the server or with the app?

I can not guarantee, but would be very disappointed if it is not fixed in the new newbb
