Hi..
I just installed Xoops2.0.6 in the hosted platform..
But I have a problem to use "view account" in user menu... Every time I click "view account", it just goes blank..although I can use "edit account" to edit... So do you know the problem is?
You can use "test" as username and "12345" as password..
the site is www.butsa.com

By the way, I also have a problem..
If I enter "http://64.191.63.197/~butsa75/" to browse my website... and login in by registerd user " test" password "12345".. everything works fine..
But if I enter "http://www.butsa.com" to browse the website.. After I try to login in..
It goes blank or goes tohttp://64.191.63.197/ and shows
"There is no website configured at this address.
You are seeing this page because there is nothing configured for the site you have requested. If you think you are seeing this page in error, please contact the site administrator or datacenter responsible for this site."

Thanks for your help

Can you please activate "PHP Debug mode" in your administration?

You will find it here:
Administration - Preferences - General - Debug mode

Re: help.."view account" in user menu

The URL set in mainfile.php (during installation, but you can re-edit it after installation) should be the one, you access the website from.

A wrongly set mainfile.php will give fatal errors, which result in a blank page if you have not enabled php debug in administration menu -> system admin -> preferences -> general settings.

Choose one address you want to use and use that as your site's URL in the mainfile.php.

You will activate this in the XOOPS administration section. See my first post. Or do you get a blank page also when you go into Preferences?

Can someone really help me....
I download mainfile.php back to my PC, open the file by notepad and count the line..
There is no line 78...
And I do the same thing for user.php for line 59
57 include 'footer.php';
58 } elseif ( $xoopsUser ) {
59 header('Location: '.XOOPS_URL.'/userinfo.php?60uid='.$xoopsUser->getVar('uid'));
61 }
62 exit();

Thanks many times

I use to works from my PC and then transfer the all XOOPS directory to my web host. I had noticed that somethimes due to FTP problem somes files are not completely transfered to the host and I got some error when running xoops. Maybe you can check if you files are complete by downloading a complete XOOPS directory to your PC and compare files between your PC and the hosted xoops. generally PHP files ends with the line
"question mark bigger"
?>
