The news submenu, "Submit News" and "Archives" doesn't show up for me. They are listed in xoops_version.php. What should I do to get them to show?

They should only show up if you are in the News module. XOOPS.org has the News as Start Page that's why it shows up when it first loads.

If your site is not configured to start with the News Mod, it will not show up. Go to your News mod and check if it comes up.

I did set "News" as the home page. I notice, though, you have a "Home" button and a "News" button. Mine is different. I made "News" the home page and actually renamed it "Home". .

On a side note, now I can't get it to change back to "News". So now its like I can only have a "Home" button and no "News" button.

I actually searched the database for the word "Home" and didn't find it. Its called "News" in xoops_modules.

I fixed it! I did it by changing the overall order of the buttons. Instead of starting with 0, they now start with 1.
