how to remove module links when using a module block

I have a few modules that I have set the blocks to show on the right side in there on blocks on the left side I have my links. In blocks it does not give me the option to have one or the other of my choose so things like stock box shows on the right displaying info but has a link on the left to a empty page. It seems redundant and a lot of excess. Can some one help explain how to resolve?

Could you rephase that? I don't understand what you mean.

example on the right side of the screen in XOOPS you see a search module and a donation module but on the left side of the web site you do not see web links about these to items. If it helps you can take a look at my site it is not great. xmbytes.net

i don't see a search module or donations module on the right side.

To allow anon users to see modules you need to go to system admin-groups-anon users and grant permissions for module access and block access.

If you wish to remove module links from the main menu you go to system admin--modules and set "order" for the module to 0
