This is very annoying... i can login with any other browser exept Microsoft Internet Explorer.

more, it says, Thankyou 4 logging in, and then no user menu and the same login menu appears,

No problems with other browsers... Pls help (i cry at YOU after 5 reinstalls :( )

P.S. i tried to login on more than 2 different comps... same problem... (to avoid a cookie problem or some iexplore settings)

I also tried to install Mambo... same problem.. works on everything exept iexplore.


Sorry 4 so many replies..

I use e-xoops_1.05Rev3 on a FC1

PLS help me...

Why I cannot Login at all?

You have to enable COOKIEs in your browser to login. Thus you cannot login as long as you don't accept the cookie which XOOPS provides, even if you correctly typed your username and password. Please confirm the settings in your browser.

NOTE: The particular cookie that is needed is a *session* cookie. So if your browser has the option, that is the only one you really need to enable for Xoops. (A couple of other cookies are used to provide enhanced functionality, such as keeping track of your last visit to the forums and the threads you've read.)

if not:
- which version of IE did you try on both computers?
- we are talking XOOPS 2.0.6 of course?
- is it a public site? can we try it? URL?

I hope you did not have too much to drink in your last night's party. Seriously, you need to post your questions in e-xoops forum to get your problems solved. Though XOOPS community support is second-to-none, they can't support something they don't use.

e-xoops is not xoops.

Better yet, install xoops. People here will be glad to help if you have any problems.
