Hello.

I am having trouble running XOOPS (Latest release version) under Apache (Latest release version)

I am editing the theme.html page in my default theme directory so that the size of the logo in the top left corner will be bigger. No matter what I do I can't get the image to change size and it is always squashed.

I have done the same procedure in my test site (Running under Windows and IIS and everything works fine. I have also diff'ed all of the files in my test area (Default theme) with the ones in my production area and they are exactly the same.

Has anyone run into this before? is it a known bug?

I was under the impression that running php pages under Apache was exactly the same as under IIS (Assuming that the latest versions of PHP and Apache were being used)

Any help is appreciated.

I don't think it is a server issue, as the problem is with simple HTML interpretation. Are you using the same browser to view the page? MSIE deals with images a bit differnt from other browsers. Make sure in your theme.html file there is no width or height reference around the image code.

You are changing your theme.html? In that case turn on the "Update module templates from[...]" in system admin -> preferences -> general settings

If the previous posts did not help any then I would look at the CSS files.

Some themes have multiple CSS files for different browsers. Make sure to look at the right one to see if that is the case.

Apache only delivers what it finds. Quickly try another theme to set your mind at ease about Apache.

Good Luck,
