Hi,

I'm verry new with xoops. I have it running for test and It is verry nice. In my old (existing) website I have many pages in php andmysql. I will use these inside xoops. Is it possible to make in the left collum a link and if you press that link that My pages (non XOOPS moduls) are displayed in the center collum???
If yes, how??

see one of my MANY replies on this very same issue, one of which is here.

(My site is down, so you can't see the example until some issues are resolved at the Data Center)

Hope this helps

I try to paste the code in top and bottom of the index.php of my own script but it doesn't work.
My own scripts are using more than 1 file and have subfolders. Any suggestions?

I have a block on the left site and have put this link into it. url=http://213.84.158.169:81/chat/index.php3]Chatten[/url]
I see the link in the block but when I click it a new windows is opening. I like to open it into the center collum.

What script are you using, you may need to edit more then one file the exact same way. Chances are, you index.php for the script is primarily blank, in which case look inside and look for anything that has ..include and edit the files it's references, or put your custom pages (with .php extention and above mentioned edits) in the directory it might specify in the script.

There is more then one way to do, and sometimes it's hit or miss depending on your skills. Even when things look like they should be obvious, it just doesn't work till you edit the right files through trial and error.

Let me know what script it is and I'll see if I can incorporate it into my site. If successfull, I'll report which files to edit.

I use a chat script.
Give me a few minutes and I set my site open for you.
You can go to http://laser4000.xs4all.nl:87
At the left side I have a link chat. That script I likt to have working.
Please don't look at the mesh on my site. I'm just testing.
If I know how to modifie the script to let it work I have to do more.
I like to make my exiting site http://www.laser4000.nl in XOOPS but like to keep the scripts I use on that site. For so long I testing on the site write above (http://laser400.xs4all.nl:87

The port is open for you. Please give me a sign if I can close it again. Thanks
