Re: Please Help Me!!

1) Check that key is still in ignition
2) Check gazoline level
3) Check that the wheels haven't been stolen
4) Make sure you are at the driver's seat - if you are in UK or Australia, the wheel is at the RIGHT side of the vehicle, this could be confusing for some
5) Make sure that it is actually YOUR car, you are trying to start again and not someone elses

Thanks for putting a little smile on my face JackJ

Lol here guys!

btw JackJ, congrats on becoming a community support member. Not that I think it will change the way you help people as that has always been great! The title suits you.

Don't make me get cranky and come after you!

Have you done a search?

Can you turn on the car's debug and report the output to us?

"So one night I came home and accidently put the car keys in my apartment door. What the heck, I took my apartment around the block just for fun."

If you are driving a Microsoft car, try exiting and closing your window.

From the cell keypad, type in the following command: 1-800-AAA-HELP and follow the prompts given :)

Congrats Stewdio and JackJ!

Thanks for the help. Ok, I tried Mithrandir's suggestions, didn't work. (He seems to drive on the wrong side of the road anyway)

Donxoop, I tried that "search" thing, and all I got was a horrible maze of "Please Help Me!" titles, and 250560 posts about "blank pages" containing Mithrandir's text "go to system admin/preferences/general settings and switch on debug"

Note (I thought his hungover one was classic)

If you think I am reading them dream on..

Thanks Chainsaw, but I tried that, but Microsoft threatened legal action..:)

I thought davidl2 was on the right track, but then I remembered "I was in the car" already, but thanks for trying.

I don't think fooups is treating this with the appropriate seriousness.. (nice link)

Any other suggestions..

Well normally I would recommend the Stupida series of hardware (see http://www.dumbentia.com/pdflib/stupida.pdf). Unfortunately I could not find a Stupida car.
