i have had XOOPS version 2.0.5
i have just edited a news and all news have disappeared or deleted or smthg ?
what is this?
is there a way to recover?

If you have phpmyadmin check the table stories. My guess is that they should be all there.

If this is your site,
http://web863.s3.cybton.com/modules/news/archive.php
gives blank page.

I suspect that the news you edited contained some codes broke your news index. You need to manually remove that piece of news.

when i check the database it gives an error

#1016 - Can't open file: 'xoops_stories.MYI'. (errno: 145)

i think database tables currupted?
how can i repair it?

Under phpMyAdmin you can select the table and then select "Repair table" option.

Please back up your database before you are trying to repair it. Just in case.
