i used upgrade package of Xoops-2.0.9.2-to-2.0.10.zip
i just unzipped it and overwrite on my old folders.
At firstl look all things are okay except custom blocks of my site were empty but i was able to enter admin section. And then it started to give the error i mentioned in first msg and now i cant see admin page :)

cache folder is empty and i cant know which file fails to open

yes now i found a tutorial how i can upgrade it a slideshow but for me its too late now what can i do to correct it? i cant enter admin settings section control panel thx

ive just uploaded content of Xoops-2.0.9.2-to-2.0.10.zip file.
But my custom blocks became empty. And now i cant enter admin section. It says "This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed." everytime and if i click submit "fail to open file" and return homepage. what the problem can be? What is the solution thank you

I have my database backuped. (phpmyadmin)

I've used XOOPS 2.0.5.

Now i want to change my hosting and upgrade my site and move the site.

1)I will upload the files of the latest version of XOOPS to my new hosting?
2)i have zipped database file , how can i install backuped database?

3)are these enough for moving? what can i do? what must i do?

İ have already installed XOOPS 2.0.5,
and i have some third party modules, and a theme for 2.0.5,

first question how can i upgrade 2.0.5 to 2.0.7,
Where is the information and files needed?
second quastion is if i upgrade my XOOPS portal , do i risk modules or the theme i use now?

when i check the database it gives an error

#1016 - Can't open file: 'xoops_stories.MYI'. (errno: 145)

i think database tables currupted?
how can i repair it?

i have just edited a news and all news have disappeared or deleted or smthg ?
what is this?
is there a way to recover?
