How can I hide private forums?

Create a group for those users that can use it and hide the module from everyone else.

Remembering that will most likely hide forum module, not just the private forums.

After seeing your question, I could find no easy way to hide private forums in the main forum page, which seems to be an obvious thing to do, after they are private.

I will look into it further, since I need that also.
