On the dev.xoops.org site i notice that the register link actually goes to a liase form. Can someone tell me how I can go about doing this as i am developing a new site which needs registrations accepted by admins first and i would like different fields.

Thanks

I don't know exactly how the registering procedure is done - I registered prior to the liaise form.

Predator is the admin there and it may take a wee bit longer than six hours to get his attention.

Hi cuckston,

If you have some knowledge in php, you could look at include/registerform.php and see how it is done. You'll see that some field were commented. So if you need some of them, you simply have to commented them out.

If you need some new fiels, have a look at how the forms class works in class/xoopsform.

I am not a coder but just by looking at those files, I figured out how to add an email verification field. The XoopsForm classes are quite interesting !

If you have a more specific question on how to add form field, just post them here !

Cheers

There is also a list of available xoopsform classes at in this article from the french XOOPS site. I found it quite useful for adapting a module..
