creating 3d boxes with highlight shadows....

I was wondering how do I make my menu buttons change when I run my mouse over them. I've seen sites that when you go over the mouse it creates a 3d box with highlights or even an image...

Is there a way to do this in xoops?
Sorry for asking but im unfamiliar with that...

They are called mouseovers.
They can be done in html, javascript, flash, and others im sure.

hey ishades,

it also can be simply done with css which is very simple and effective: http://www.theimposter.org/examples/rollover/

the above link will familiarize you with the power of css and menus.

in css to have a image on hover or rollover you would add the following: #mainmenu a:hover { background-image: url(yourimage.jpg); }
