Hi there

I have a few questions about the NewBB module.

I have installed it on my XOOPS sire, and before enabling it to the public i need to fix a few things.

1. How do i get it to use the flat view ? Like xoops.org does.

2. What design is used on xoops.org, i think the default looks bad, might be due to thread view ?

3. Does there exists a module for XForum instead ?

Best regards
Disky

You can set it from admin->preferences

Thread view will make sence if flat view costs much on loading, such as long thread, automatically displayed images ...

sure, some other options, such as ipb, phpbb. they look better appearance and more cumstomizable block, not integrated so well with XOOPS though.

Try the new newbb if you want.

Thanks for the tip.

I think it is strange that i need to change from threaded to flat in admin part of the whole site, and not in the admin part of the forum.

Where can i find the forum design xoops.org uses ?

The default looks bad

The nested/flat/threaded setting is in the system admin area because it applies not only to newbb, but also to comments posted to any module that allows comments (news items, polls, etc).
