You can also set it up such certain classes of users see different views (ie anonymous users do not see Main Menu, Registered Users do).

If you visit my sites you can see sone without any XOOPS menus at all.

A second site does what I explained above. Others are more traditional still.

The top navigation on your theme is very possible if u use another theme without the nav..

but you can't have the menu's active for 1 theme and disabled for another theme.. they are either on or off..

if ur meaning to do this so that anonymous/guests don't see menus then do as previously said and go into admin/blocks and edit the blocks so that they don't show in guest mode..

Hi.
Well, i do realize now that having a nav on top and in another theme classic nav on the left block won't be possible.
In Adm_blocks you cann't switch it on and off as i would like to.
Cann't have it both ways.. what a really want it for my Homepage is to have, lets say 3 or 4 themes
each of them with a different nav, one on top, one left and so forth..
I think, i will have to put a specific nav on each of my themes and forget MainMenu
Anyway, thanks for your time and help, i do appreciate it..
Have a nice day...
