How to upgrade?

For more than 6 month.. my site use XOOPS 2.0 (http://www.bicarasiswa.com), until recently the hosting company told me there was attempted hack to the server true my sites. He told me that XOOPS 2.0 less security.

Now I d/load 2.0.6 which ssomeone told me the security is high.

The question:

1. How to upgrade from version 2.0 to 2.0.6?
2. What will happen to the database?
3. What will happen to language file?

hi hanan

you have to translae you lang file
then read the readme file you will see how to upgrade

there are patch file to convert the table without losing anything

plz download the XOOPS core and read the readme file thats all

Is the patch include in the 2.0.6? Need I to d/load the patch? But I could not found patch: 2.0.3 to 2.0.6.

Where can I find readme on upgrade?

Grab your patch/Upgrade files here:

https://xoops.org/general/download.php

Read the included files for upgrade procedures. In most case all you need to do is replace existing files, I don't think there have been any database updates. Read the files to be sure.

look i understand you want upgrade from XOOPS 2.0 RC1 to 2.0.6

if that right that mean you have to apply the patch that must convert you database to work with new version of XOOPS
