How do i add a link to my phpbb forums to the main menu?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean...

Do you mean ad a link from the XOOPS main menu to your forums?

If so in your system admin/groups be sure you have set the permissions.

Or do you mean you are using phpbb by its self and you would like to ad a link to that main menu?

If so you must edit and ad your link to the templates/YourTemplate/overall_header.tpl

The first one..lol.I have a forum and would like to add a link to it on my main menu for my XOOPS website without having it click web links first and then clicking the link to forums.

Ok if this is a newbb forum that is part of the XOOPS system you should be able to just activate it and set group permissions and have it show up.

However if this is a forum outside of the system, you should check out "imenu" ... I believe you can get it here in the downloads, if not check my site. Imenu is great you can add links to where ever youd like inside or outside of your xoops, or even on or off site.

K its not the newBB forum that i got from XOOPS its a different one i have. So i downloaded "Imenu" from your site...only problem is how do i use it? lol

Once you have installed it from your system admin panel, just click on the icon in your admin menu that says "imenu" then click on add a link and all you have to do is enter the name of the link, and the url.
