Xoops IT & Software Management Association??

Anyone out there interested in starting up a webring, cross link, or whatever of XOOPS Sites that are focused on IT Management, Software Management, Software Quality topics?

I have a couple of sites like that and would love to form some type of a symbiotic relationship with other like-minded (focused) sites...

Sounds like a very nice idea.

I am more developing than actually using XOOPS, but I'm sure there are others out there, who would be interested in doing this.

I guess in many ways I am pretty much the opposite of you... I use XOOPS much more than my skills allow for me to contribute with its development.

I like the CMS very much and do believe that we (the XOOPS Community) can both help each other and spread the word about how powerful these tools are in terms of enhancing communications.

I look forward to encouraging this effort.

Sounds like a great idea and you have peeked my interest. Let me know more :)

In regards to a "module for it" .... I do believe that is what the xoopspartners module is for? Or at least thats what I use it for lol

I agree that we don't need a module, per sae. I think what we need is to provide links to each other (using partners block works fine) It is also easy to open up a webring and place the webring link in a custom block on your 'front' page.

I have this already on one of my non-IT sites, seehttp://fbctogether.org

I guess from this point forward I will offer my site:http://eirenicon.org/index.php as a place for people to signup. Under the Communications button header, you'll see a place to sign-up.

I'll also try to form a webring... watch for an announcement here.
