Is there any way to install two modules of the same type? In this case I would like to create a second FAQ module to be able to separate the two sections.

Rangarig,

I believe you could, however you would have to modify the module.

Which would entail:

Renaming the tables in the mysql.sql
Renaming the module itself.
And likely changing the linking structure.

May I ask why you would need to FAQ's?

if you chg the table names in the mysql.sql file, wouldn't that require also changing the table names in the module itself?


btw, there should be a variable added into the table prefix, which would change the prefix from 'xoops_' to 'xoops_$MODULENAME_'

that way, a person would just have to change the mysql.sql and the module name, and users would know exactly which module each table belongs to


EDIT: oh yeah, don't forget the version file too, or whatever it's called.. that defines all sql tables as well, right?
