How does the AgendaX 201 translation work? de_DE files included but everytime in english :( any1 got a tip?

Your PHP should have gettext extension enabled, in this case the compiled "agendax.mo" file is used by PHP gettext translation system. the v2.0.1 distribution does not contain the compiled .mo file because my version of translation (agendax.po) is not complete.

You can compile manually your agendax.po file by the unix cmd:

msgfmt -o agendax.mo agendax.po

i got a shell account but no xgettext installed..
i used cygwin for windows. with this it works :)
Now AgendaX is German :)

no matter what I've done, I could not make the translation work.

I've tried to run this command and it say that the file had erros on it (portugues.do.brasil)

So i translate it hardcoded.

Society If I send my file to you can u try to compile it and send back to me?

I'm unable to do that.

same on german. you need to cut the wrong lines out of the po file.

I have the same problem. I have only the nl_NL agendax.po file. I can't compile the agendax.mo file. Can anyone help me?

there is a utility called poEdit! Try it out, it might help you with the translation file! It helped me with wordpress for xoops!

well, we strongly advise NOT to use agendax, since it is not maintained anymore and has security holes. Please use extcal or Pical instead.
