A newbie question.

What is the cleanest way to eliminate main sections such as DOWNLOAD and LINKS from my site?

Thanks in advance.

1> You can hide these modules

2> You can de-activate these module

3> You can completely remove these module from database

Where you want to go today?

Thanks much for the info.

Actually, I am beginning, thanks to your help, to understand what is going on here. The DOWNLOAD module is currently not installed. But the theme I am using from 7dana.com displays LINK, DOWNLOAD,NEWS,FAQ in a navigation menu even though these modules are not active.

Do you think I have to find the navbar code and manually rip out these inactive references? Or is there a better way?

Thanks again to you and to everyone on this forum for helping me with my XOOPS learning process.

You'll have to do it manually because those links are hardcoded into the theme. Got to theme.html located in the theme directory of the theme you're using and you'll find those links. Just remove the ones you're not using.
