Hi, when a new user registers, it sends them the confirmation email.. as well as one to the admin to say a new user has registered....

BUT when i try to send an email as the admin from the administration menu in XOOPS it says successfuly sent but no emails go out.

Do they both use the same function/process to email?

ANy suggestions on what i can check to get the admin sending process working ?>

If have less then 200 users then check out this free newsletter creater. Very nice and powerfull. You can create nice newsletter with tables and html formating and it gves the option to send as text message as well.

Only side effect is the 200 user limit, and the fact that it's a separate registration. But you could alwyas provide a link and use the sign in for the newletter as your Opt-In.
