Okay, got everything to work but one thing is bothering me. I can browse to the news page and go to the archive from there. However, I get a 'not found' when i want to go straight to the news archive. Is it some kind of access rights I forgot? I can't find it. Anybody?

By straight to the archive do you mean you type the URL in the address bar? What page is your browser on when you do this? Or are you using some kind of dynamic menu that shows the modules sub-links in "layers"?

Yes, I mean 'typing' the URL in the browser coming from another site.

Can you paste the URL in here. I don't get that behavior on any of my sites.

Interesting I used this URL:

http://therevolution.morainevalleychurch.org/portal/modules/news/archive.php

and it appears to work fine. The site is running 2.0.5 version of software and I am using mozilla 1.6 under winXP.

Tell me if this link gives you an error? If not it could be the XOOPS version or your installation.

Sorry, I got it. I inserted some links to certain archived months manually on my front page and used a wrong folder or something It is all working now. Thanks.

Quote:
$fromyear = (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['year'])) ? intval ($HTTP_GET_VARS['year']): 0;

thanks in advance
