How can I intigrate Noah's Classifieds *http://classifieds.phpoutsourcing.com/ into xoops? It's installed outside the XOOPS root dir. I want to make it visible in the XOOPS main page.

Thank you in advance!

Hello there

One way to go:

I have a little module called "framebrowser" I stripped down a bit I use to wrap the standalone "Zina" streamer into xoops.

You can adapt it to wrap any page or app into a frame. If you do a search for "Framebrowser" you may find a fuller version around.

Not enough info, so I am playing guessing games..

did you download the one from my site? or did you get this error trying to download from my site?

If you have installed this on your site you need to ensure you have the correct link in index.php i.e.

echo "";

if you post the link you have put in that might help? and the location of the destination folder or file

regards

Did you follow the instructions file I included

Hi,
I have downloaded the module from your web site. There is an instruction.txt file however I don't know what I am missing as I have not uploaded the music folder (only the frame browser dir). Here is the situation:
http://www.somebusiness.com/tradeleads/index.php
This is what I want to be displayed on http://www.somebusiness.com and if possible a link like TradeLeads in the main menu of xoops. I am a newbie and I just don't know how to complete this. Your help will be highly appriciated.

Thank you again.

Ahhhh, no, the other "framebrowser" does not work, that was just an example of the one I stripped.

If you go to the xoops_version.php in the music folder and look for these lines

$modversion['name'] = "music";
$modversion['dirname'] = "music";

you can change these to something like

$modversion['name'] = "classified";
$modversion['dirname'] = "classified";

Make sure the name matches the name of the folder you upload to modules folder on the server i.e

Edit index.php in the music folder and put in your own link

Upload the "music" folder and contents, and rename it to "classified" or whatever name you choose for the above lines.

And then install the module, a link called "classified" or whatever will appear in your main menu.
