Just exactly what do I put into the root of my server for Xoops

I am trying to build a local server on My PC for testing.

I created a folder www/xoops = root folder for XOOPS

THe extracted XOOPS folder contains:

xoops2.0.5.2 (folder I created)
+ docs
+ extras
+ html

Do I copy all the above folders w/sub folders and files to the root? c:/localhost/xoops/=server root for xoops

Do I copy the contents of the html folder w/o th folder?

From what I read it would appear I should select and copy all the folders and files under html, but not the html folder itself.

Also...In the pre-install instructions it mentions "Prepare user account and grant user access to database. How do you do this, on a local server on my PC?

all you need is the CONTENTS of the html folder (not even the html folder itself, just what is inside on it: like class, include, language, etc)

Yes, I read all the install directions, but sometimes I miss things.

Maybe, I should say I think divergently/alternatively from some people. Not saying there is anything wrong with what was said, I just don't get things sometimes the way they're written or described.

Just added some changes in the Wiki to make this part of the instructions a bit more explicit.
