I've loaded and re-loaded the Miniserver several times and tried several other PHP installers as well.

I really like the Miniserver, but can't seem to get it working correctly.

It would be a great help if someone who is very familiar with the Miniserver could share install and setup for Local PC server.

It would be an excellent help if someone could describe a complete install the Miniserver for local PC and Xoops.

I keep getting this popop error box towards the end of the XOOPS install.


check database Could not connect to the database server.


Please check the database server and its configuration.

You need to start MySQL seperately.

on the miniserver page click on start mysql

Xoops will run now
