Root Directory Question

XOOPS will install on the root directory but the Forum module will not allow a category to be established. If I install XOOPS on a directory everything works normally. Installations were done with Fantastico Auto-install. Mainly wondering why this Forum module error would occur only on root directory? All other modules work as they should. Nothing in the Wiki or Forum seems to cover this issue.

Just Curious,
Mark C.

This is a known issue with Fantasico and Cpanel. I recommend uploading and installing the files yourself for a trouble free experience.

Thanks for the info, Stewdio. The easy way always ends up the hardest it seems. Kicked the tires on the other programs out there but XOOPS is the best. When it comes to community support there's none better.

Best Regards,
