Please take a moment to visit my site... it'll be easier than trying to explain this issue. When you get there, notice the gap running down the right hand side of the screen caused by the "New Members" block being too wide:

Now i could fix this problem by making the maximum username length shorter, but i'd rather not do this.

Can i make the rest of the blocks fill the remaining space? i.e. make all right-hand blocks wider so the go right up to the scroll-bar??

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

In your default theme style.css look for this line:

td#rightcolumn {width: 170px; border-left: 1px solid #cccccc; font-size:12px;}

Change this width:170px to something like width: 230px or until it fits.

You may also need to go to your blocks "templates" for the right column blocks, to perhaps add "centre" tags to tidy things up for individual blocks.
