please help me...
I can send a activation mail in same mail addres on my server exp. my hosting name ishttp://www.portofsailor.com

I can send exp.
xxxx@portofsailor.com
xxx=any user on my domain

BUT
I can't send activation key

exp.
xxxx@hotmail.com
xxxxxx@yahoo.com
xxxx@xxxxxxx.com
please help

I had the same problem when I was using IIS STMP. Because the ISP blocks all domains expect the localdomain.

Have you tried phpmail()? Give that a shot.

Also in the SMTP section, did you add a username/password for that server.

SMTPAuth.

DO you get 550 "We do not relay" errors? Do you manage the mail server yourself or are you using your ISP to send the emails out?
