NewBB icons are incorrect

Hi !

I have 4 forums and they are always represented by the New Posts icon, even I there is no new posts in those forum. When I enter, for example, the first forum, 2 topics have the New Post icon. If I go in these topics and I get back to the list of topic in that forum, the 2 topics are still identified by the New Post image.

What is the problem?

I used to get this problem myself before I upgraded to 2.0.5.1 and now to 2.0.5.2. Now I don't have this problem anymore. I don't know why it was happening before, I could never fix it.

I currently use at 2.0.5.2.

I'm haveing the same issue with XOOPS 2.0.5.1. Is there a way to fix this or how do I upgrade?

Just an update and something that is really strange. After changing the icons to what I wanted them to be... After about an hour or so the icons update and they work now. I don't know guys, but it kindof works for me.

Just uploading and overwriting the same file. Now, the strange thing is I upload a few more images and its been 4 hours and no change. If I ftp in the images are right in the folder. If I put in the web address the images are wrong. Whats the deal. Is this thing cache or something. Any help would be good help

I changed all the newBB icons for small, neat graphics that I prefered. I renamed each icon in my new set with the same name as the old icon I wanted to replace. (easy stuff) Now, delete the old icons, as I recall they were all in one directory. Then upload the new set. Viewed the site ... Nothing changed!! I had to empty my browser cache and try again, sure enough all was well. If the old icons are gone it has to be a cache memory.

Just reviewing what you said and what I see now. I don't think the issue lies within just the newbb module but though xoops. I have put more custom icons within XOOPS and I'm not seeing any changes. Also as far as what you said about cleaning out internet cache... Are you talking about from the client or is there a folder inside of XOOPS that i need to do this? I have deleted my temp internet, my history, and cookies. Can you please give me more instructions
