go into your site administration menu -> sys admin -> preferences -> general settings. Once in this menu select yes to the radio button that says "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" then return to your homepage. This should force XOOPS to update, but keep in mind there is a performance hit so it should only be used when in development, or making a change.

Tempted to say "it's a white-out"

Sorry you don't need humor right now!

If all this began when you changed your theme.html, why not roll back to the default theme set and see what works. (you er ... did clone the default, right!) Certainly a good starting point for putting things right.

Good luck, Richard

Sounds like you edited theme.html directly? Mmmm. OK you should be able to change your theme to phpkoax or x2t in site admin>preferences>general settings. select Default theme and default template set to one of these and update at the bottom (go) Failing this use debug mode
