I'm new to allthis so please forgive my ignorance in advance. A few people are starting to trickle into my forum and I noticed that when someone replied to my original post, it was attached as a link to my post like a commment instead of automatically showing the entire post and his info like this forum. Is that because it was a direct reply to my title or is there some feature I can use to make it look like more of a conventional forum.

You must have figured this out on your own, about making your comments display as flat in your general settings of system admin. The comments display affects the forum posts display. Your posts are now flat.
