font changing doesn't work or bbcode

when i submit news or enter text the change font functions do not work.. it changes on the sample above where u type ur text in but when u view the submitted item it doesn't change.. neither does it if i use < b> etc etc

tried [ letter b ]?

I think you may have misunderstood the font change. It's supposed to go like this: You select a font/size/color/bold/italic/etc. and then you type what you want in that font and style in the input field to the right of the B/I/U buttons and press "Add" - it will then be added to the text area with correct BBcode

now i think i need to go for an eye test so i can actually read the manual better.. lol i dunno how i missed something so simple..
