Re: calendar clock

Do you have a calendar module installed? The different calendar modules come with blocks to display the calendar.

As for a clock, there are clock blocks available. Which is it that you want, clock or calendar?

FYI, I've tried a few calendar modules, but I just installed piCal and am very pleased with it (make sure you get the most recent version from their website).

As for clock; your best bet is to find a stand-alone clock and add it wherever you want on your page (either block or inside a page template). I recommend a flash one for the sake of performance and style (javascript is just clunky).

Cheers,
Keith

again thanks to all

I installed the Clock Calendar combination but I can't see how to set the time? I thought it would have pulled from system time but is one hour out. Any advice?

That's what i thought. The operating system has the right time and I would have expected the module to get the time from there. I have seen the same problem on another couple of sites.

If you have the same one I do, see http://MyGenealogy.Info, then all you have to do is unzip the contents and upload the "clock_calendar" folder (as created by the zip extract or manually, if necessary) into the modules directory on the server. The module will then appear at the bottom of your modules page in administration, then, just click on install.
