Hi there,

hope that someone answers my questions and solves my problem, too.

Wanted dead or alive ... my textboxarea is missing.

I cannot create an article. When I´m in the >>Article Management menu and I like to create a new article the >>edit article menu pops up. But there is no way to edit or write an message/article.
In the >>Edit Article menu is the textboxarea missing!!!
There isn´t a button 'submit' or 'publish' either.

Please, give me an advice.

Have you checked the configuration area of wfsection and picked "Use WYSIWYG Editor rather than XOOPS editor?"?

This will only work with IE browsers. Which browser are you using?

Hi CBlue,

yes, WYSIWYG Editor was set. I think it´s default.
But it didn´t work either with IE nor MozillaFirebird. I also changed the settings to the XOOPS Editor. It didn´t work.
Any suggestions?

Switch of the module xfsection.
Upload the WF-section files again, Udate module WF-section and try again.
So start with one fresh module, that will make it easyer to pin down your 'problem'

Success

The editor in this version of WF-Sections will only work with IE version 6. Are you using an earlier version of IE? If so, you will have to upgrade.

That´s not it.

I´m using IE6.0. Hmmm...
Well, I read that both modules (XF- and SFsection) don´t interfere because of the difference of their names.

Well, now you have the opportunity to test this.
Let us know what the results are

Hi svaha,
your wish is my command!
(Yust kidding)
I did it. But without a positiv result.
Well, I remember that because of this problem I installed the xfsection. So it didn´t work in the first place.

What I het:
I press the >>new article link and get the >>edit article.
It shows:
- the group permissions
- category
- weight
- authorname
- titel
That´s ot.
btw: it´s the german version - should I try the original one?
BUT: I used the original version of xfsection so I doudt it that we will find the problem this way.

: EDIT ------------
I can create articles when I start from the homepage. It´s this link:http://172.16.200.2/modules/wfsection/submit.php
But I can´t edit it afterwards.

I would beg to differ on that one, they would both use groupaccess.php and that could cause a conflict with the functions that this uses.

Can you switch on php debugging and let me know any errors that maybe to do with these modules?

Then it seems you have a problem with the HTML file part of this. It could be something to do with the XoopsList::getFileListAsArray but not sure exactly what yet.

The reason you can submit an article via submit.php is that this file does not use this function.

You can find this part in the file wfsection/class/wfsarticle.php around line 956 comment out this part of the file. (lines 958 to 974)

Let me know what happens there ok?
