no email send for user who registered.
i set debug mod on php debug & it say this warning:

Quote:
Warning: chmod, chgrp, realpath, tmpfile, link, mb_send_mail() has been disabled for security reasons in /data/members/free/tripod/uk/i/r/m/irmtfan/htdocs/class/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 2062

is it related to this warning & what can i do generally?

happy new year

Using a free host, and lycos specially is never really smart. Lycos blocks very important functions, and doesn't want to unblock unless you take a non-free account.

Except from that, you might wanne change the way how XOOPS sends e-mail, try the normal mail command, and, I doubt it will work but you can always try, with a smtp server.

Goodluck.
