What other security programs do you recommend ? what one do you use personally

I use my router and thats it. No antivirus, no popup stoppers, no spam killers, no trojan checkers, nothing...

How, common sense. Why, because I can.

I'll admit though, I did want to try AVG for antvirus, so I've been running it for a couple weeks. Nice little app actually. Low on resources, but a real pain to set up for email scanning. I'm junking that too...

lol.. WELL . i personally have been using symantics products for years and they have stopped many live attacks against my computer. I keep well uptodate daily with virus defenitions ect... hopefully i will be able to get some sort of protection for the network or maybe Norton NIS protects all that stuff. I have to read up on it a little more .

Oh your setup is definately doing it's job. Since I have hardware protection, I don't bother with software anymore.

Blackice and Kerio products are pretty much high on my lists for network protection on a computer that needs it though. For AntiVirus, it's Norton all the way. I don't recommend my personal setup for everyone. In fact, I scream at people till their hair blows backward if they don't take the proper steps to protect themselves
